UNWSP Health Services is available to all traditional students whether they live on or off campus, along with PSEO students who live on campus and are 18 years of age or older.  *During this global pandemic, Health Services is offering COVID testing only for all students; PSEO who live on and off campus as well as Adult Undergraduate and Graduate students.

I am a PSEO student who lives on campus, can I request an appointment with Health Services?

• Yes, if you are 18 years of age or older you can request an appointment with Health Services. 

I am a PSEO student who lives on campus but I am under the age of 18, can I utilize Health Services?

• Only PSEO students who live on campus and are 18 years of age or older may utilize Health Services. If you wish to be seen and are living in a residences hall as an underage PSEO student, you can have your parents submit a Minor Consent form to healthservices@unwsp.edu or fax: 651-286-7438. Minor Consent form can be found here. 

I am a PSEO student who attends classes on campus but I do not live on campus, can I utilize Health Services? 

• No, only PSEO students who live on campus and are 18 years of age or older may utilize Health Services. All other PSEO students must continue care with their own local health care provider. 

We understand that health information about you and your health care is personal and confidential.  We are committed to protecting health information and to following state and federal privacy laws regarding your healthcare records. In addition to your health history and immunization forms, we create a record of your care and services and keep this record for seven years from the date of enrollment.  We use this record to provide you with quality care and to comply with specific legal regulations.

Information you share with our providers will not be shared to anyone outside of health services unless:

• You give written permission to release information (verbal permission with documentation of that permission in some cases.)

• Your behavior poses a threat to your safety or the safety of others (parents or other appropriate parties may be notified.)

• You require hospitalization (parents or other appropriate parties may be notified.)

The Health Services clinic is open whenever classes are in session; closed during school breaks and during the summer months.  Office hours are:  8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily with closure during the lunch hour.aims to serve the UNW community in keeping the campus healthy and safe during this global pandemic in the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19 on campus. In doing so, Health Services is now offering services in two locations: 

Non-Respiratory Clinic: Naz Hall, room N1111 is available for appointments Monday- Friday from 8:30 AM - 11:00AM for all eligible students who need to be seen for non-illness issues (i.e: medication refills, physicals, immunizations, etc.) Due to the social distancing protocols, we are unable to accommodate more than one student in the clinic at a time, therefore no walk-ins will be accepted. Please call for an appointment. 

Respiratory Clinic: located off-campus at 2955 Centre Point Drive, Roseville, MN 55113 in the UNW Centre Point building is available for appointments starting from 12:00PM - 4:30PM Monday- Friday for all students who need COVID testing, students with COVID-like symptoms, or are feeling sick or ill (nausea, vomiting, sore throat, cold/flu symptoms etc.) Transportation is available for those that need it. Due to social distancing protocols, we are only able to accommodate a limited number of students at a time, no walk-ins will be accepted. Please call for an appointment. 

Physician, Physician Assistant and a Registered Nurse appointments are available during clinic hours ; Physician on Monday afternoons, 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Physician Assistant, Monday mornings and during clinic hours Tuesday-Friday as well as a Registered Nurse Monday-Friday. 

Services are covered by a Health fee charged each semester.  In addition, students will be charged minimal fees for certain immunizations and antibiotics , antibiotics, and certain in-house labs such as COVID testing to keep our medical costs down. This will be charged directly to your student account upon notification of cost and receiving your signature.

All appointments must be scheduled in advance; we do not accept walk in appointments. Please register on the Medicat Student Portal prior to making an appointment.

In Person - Stop by the Health Services department in Naz (N1111) to schedule an appointment.

Please keep in mind that Health Services is closed weekends and academic breaks, thus, Health Services will return phone calls when we return.
