title7.7 Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

University of Northwestern - St. Paul is committed to providing equal access to students with disabilities. University of Northwestern students requiring accommodations for academic support  UNW students requesting academic accommodations in association with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are directed to notify  the Academic Achievement immediately for approval.Students with documented disabilities desiring accommodations must notify each and every faculty member for each NUR course, in which they are enrolled and desire said accommodations. Additional academic support services (such as peer coaching, advocacy, academic skills building and specialized tutoring sessions) are available through Academic Achievement. Contact the Academic Achievement Office Coordinator at 651- 628-3241 or academicsupportservices@unwsp.edu Disability Services to begin the application process. Academic Achievement also provides the following: Writing and Subject Tutoring, advocating, transitional skill building, Academic Coaching (organization, time management, test taking, etc.).
