Go to the password reset portal
Enter your username in this format: username@unwsp.edu (ex: abjohnson@unwsp.edu), then click “Next.”
You will then be prompted to enter the security code that was sent via text to your cell phone number on file.
See Requirements above if you do not get a text with a 6 digit security code
After entering your security code, you will be directed to this screen to choose a new password.
If you did not receive a security code and did not receive and an error code, the code might have been sent to a different cell phone on file. Please contact the IT Service Desk at 651-631-5699 to have your password reset.
If you received an error code or a message saying that there is no phone number on file, please contact the IT Service Desk at 651-631-5699 to have your password reset.
You should then see a screen indicating that the reset was successful. If you run into any issues please call the IT Service Desk at 651-631-5699.

Password Requirements
Your new password must be different from any previous password.
It must include at least 14 characters.

lowercase
number
symbol
