Per University policy, class attendance requirements are established by each professor and are included in the syllabus of the course. In registering for a class, the student agrees to such requirements (University of Northwestern – St. Paul’s Traditional Undergraduate & Dual Enrollment Catalog 2022232024, p. 25). Excused absences are granted for students participating in official University-sponsored events or for verified medical or other emergency. Competency-Based Assessments or other gradable events occurring during a student’s absence will be rescheduled by the professor.
