This page is meant to be a resource for Northwestern Engineering Staff and Faculty in regards to the hardware in our lab facilities. This documentation site will not usually include consumables, but rather the equipment designated to each lab space.
As we are in the process of buying new equipment, the complete wish lists, current budget understandings, and progress made to equipment acquisition completion is available under the equipment acquisition page. Within that page there is first an overview of all pages, and then individual sub-pages which outline the equipment list for each lab, as well as company contacts for equipment related to that lab. The first page overview does not dynamically update when the sub pages are changed, if the information is inconsistent the lab sub-page should contain the most updated version.
For equipment that had already been purchase, it should be visible either via the top level pages either By Lab or By Company. Currently only the By Company page is fully set up and it should show a record of all the orders purchased for a particular company. As equipment physically arrives on campus and is placed in its designated Lab spaces, the same information will be migrated to the By Lab page.
