Is the subject matter or the method of presentation the key to good teaching?  The answer to this question is “Neither.”  The key to good teaching is passion, whether that’s passion about Shakespeare or Fermat’s Theorem or the history of coffee houses in 1700s England or the search for a misplaced Higgs-Boson particle.  How can we best convey our passions to our students?Image Added
