Remember FERPA When Sharing Course Videos

As a reminder, any videos from classes that are recorded are protected by FERPA and must not be shared beyond the class participants (i.e., the videos cannot be made public). This guidance applies to all faculty this semester in alignment with UNW's Lecture Capture guidelines. You can reference this video on how to create and share a video appropriately with your class while honoring FERPA rights.

New Director of Core Curriculum

I am pleased to announce Jessica Moore has accepted the position of Director of Core Curriculum. Her involvement in the Core Curriculum Revision Committee was integral in the development of the new Core Curriculum. Her skills and experience will be beneficial as she takes on the responsibility for the leadership, oversight, and coordination of the core curriculum. Jessica is a Professor in the Berntsen Library. Please join me in congratulating Jessica on her outstanding contributions to the development and implementation of the new Core Curriculum and taking on this new role.
