If it has been determined that a student has been academically dishonest in a course (i.e., cheated, plagiarized), the student may not drop or withdraw from the course. If a student drops or withdraws from a course before an academic dishonesty decision has been identified and/or a determination has taken place, and if the student is subsequently found guilty of academic dishonesty, the course will be reinstated to allow for the decided disciplinary action to take place (i.e., failing grade, reduced grade). See Cheating and Plagiarism for other related policy information. |
