  • University of Northwestern provides service to students with disabilities following ADA guidelines.  See the DOSS office for information.
  • All syllabi should include the following statement

    UNW students requesting academic support accommodations in association with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are directed to notify the Disabilities Office for Support Services (DOSS) immediately to begin the application process.

 

  • All syllabi should include a current CAPSS/DOSS Syllabus Statement which reflects: Students requiring ADA accommodations for academic reasons are encouraged to notify the professor immediately.  ADA accommodations are processed through the DOSS office (ext. 5221, Dr. Yvonne RB-Banks7446, David Golias, Director).  Confidentiality is respected.
  • In addition to DOSS, CAPSS houses the following programs for further academic support:

    • ALPHA (writing and subject tutoring)
    • CLT (cultural or other significant transitions)
    • PSP (academic skills and coaching)
