Backing up your data


Information Technology strongly recommends that you back up your essential information/data on your computer at least once a week to an external device or online sync service.

The IT Department recommends that all students back up their data regularly using at least two of the following devices/software below.

 

 

 

 


Microsoft OneDrive 

We strongly recommend using OneDrive for backing up your personal files since they are synced to the cloud you can access them anywhere that has an internet connection.

External Hard Drives

External SSD hard drives are also a great choice for backing up all your data due to the large capacity. Typically external hard drives can range in A 1TB hard drive should be sufficient for most students.

USB Flash Drives 

Flash drives are typically smaller backup devices that typically are anywhere from 8GB up to 128GB.
