Overview |
Living on campus provides an outstanding opportunity to engage in the community that UNW has to offer. Our Residence Halls for new first year students are Hartill, KnuHa, Knutson, and Moyer. Returning and transfer students may live in any residence hall on campus. Each hall within these areas has a Resident Assistant (RA) and a Ministry Partner (MP) who are there to help foster community through personal interactions, programs, and small groups. RAs and MPs are student leaders who are passionate about building community and are there to help you get the most out of your college experience, from getting to know peers in your hall to being challenged and stretched in your own experience at college. Each of our Residence Halls offers programming for the entire hall that is geared towards the residents in that community.

Resident Directors (RDs) are professional staff members who live within each of the residence halls. These staff members oversee each of the RAs that directly support each of our residence halls. Each of our RDs supports both community and individual development through programming and direct interactions with our students. RDs play a large role in facilitating the overall safety and security of our Residence Halls and provide individual student follow up as needed. |

Our Resident Assistants (RAs) live in each hall and are dedicated to individually getting to know each of their residents. RAs are a resource to students as they navigate the college experience. If you have any questions, checking in with your RA is always a good starting point. RAs help facilitate community through intentional programming, check-ins with students, and being present and active in the community. |

Ministry Partners (MPs) are similar to the RA as their role is helping build community within the residence halls. However, MPs focus more specifically on Spiritual Growth and host regular small groups within each hall. Depending on what each hall is looking for, small groups may consist of Bible studies, discussing chapel topics, going through a book study, or other topical discussions. |
