Getting Ready for Your Proctored Exam
Review Proctorio's system requirements. See the System Requirements page for more information.
Make sure you have a webcam that is connected and operational.
For Proctorio, you can use either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. You will need to use one of these two browsers for proctored exams. Proctorio recommends Microsoft Edge.
Install the Proctorio extension.
During Your Exam
You will access the exam through your Moodle course. When you start your proctored exam, you will be prompted to perform certain tasks based on the settings your instructor has selected for the exam. These may include showing your photo ID, adjusting your webcam, or scanning your room with your webcam.

Do I need to schedule my exam?
No, you can take your exam when it is convenient for you. The close date and time for the exam does affect your ability to take the exam through Proctorio. Please allow yourself enough time to take the exam.

Yes, you can. You will need to make sure that the hot spot connection is a secure password-protected connection. The connection speed still needs to meet the System Requirements.
