On-campus medical emergency
- Call 911
- Call Public Safety: 651-631-5310 (X5310 on campus). Public Safety will direct the ambulance to the site of the emergency.
- Notify the Resident Director on Duty, by contacting the Robertson Student Center Desk at 651-631-5307.
Please note: any charges incurred by ambulance services or another medical facility are the responsibility of the student. Students are not charged for an ambulance to come on campus, but only if transported to a medical facility.
On-campus urgent medical concern
- Call Public Safety at 651-631-5310 (X5310) to respond to the situation.
- Notify the Resident Director on Duty, by contacting the Robertson Student Center Desk at 651-631-5307.
- Call Health Services
When Health Services is closed, basic first-aid supplies and thermometers are available in the residences and may be obtained by contacting a Resident Asssistant Assistant or the Resident Director on duty.
Mental Health Crisis
In the event of a crisis or mental health emergency, please call 911, or go to your nearest emergency department, or call the Ramsey County Crisis Hotline at 651-266-7900. If you're a student living on campus, you may also contact the Student Center Desk at 651-631-5307 to reach the RD on duty, or call Public Safety at 651-631-5310.

Contacting the Resident Director (RD) on duty
- Call the Robertson Student Desk at 651-631-5307 and ask for the Resident Director on duty.
Serious illnesses or injuries must be immediately reported to the Resident Director (RD) on duty. As needed, the Resident Director will assist the student in contacting appropriate family members and/or medical personnel, coordinating transportation to the healthcare facility, etc. If transportation to a healthcare facility is needed and the situation is not life-threatening, the student is primarily responsible to arrange his/her own transportation.
