    titleCan I set up an appointment to meet with a Career Coach before the semester begins?

    Yes, you can set up a career coaching appointment through Handshake (use your UNW student login). We find that many students appreciate meeting prior to the start of the semester.

    titleAre we required to connect with Career & Leadership Development?

    It is not a requirement to use Career & Leadership Development’s services, but we HIGHLY recommend it; the services are free and helpful to gain the confidence you need to explore various majors and career paths.

    No, you may schedule an appointment with any of our available coaches on Handshake.

    titleCan Career & Leadership Development get me a job or internship?

    We can help. We are not a staffing service nor do we handle any of the on-campus employment. Our career coaches will help prepare you to get hired and create a strategy of success (see our services above). We also frequently post job/internship opportunities on our Instagram account, emailed newsletters, and thousands of opportunities can be searched on the Handshake software platform.
