CLEP (College Level Examination Program)
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP) scores are accepted at University of Northwestern. Specific information, including courses and requirements, may be found on MyUNW and under the Registrar’s Office on the public web site.
- Credits may not be earned through CLEP examinations whose content duplicates credit previously earned.
- The specific courses for which credit will be granted for successful performance on the CLEP will be determined by the faculty of each department/school.
- Departments/schools may require higher scores for credit from students majoring in the area covered by the examination.
- A student may receive a maximum of 32 semester credits by way of CLEP or other standardized examinations.
