Overview

Information Technology provides self-service tools for students to change or reset their passwords.

How To Change Your Password

1. Access the MyPassword page: https://mypassword.unwsp.edu
   

2. You can modify your password in two ways:

   1. Password Change: You will need to know your current password in order to use this option. 

   2. Password Reset: If you do not know your old password, you can use the Self-Service Password Reset portal.

Note

For a password reset, your cell phone number must be accurate. If your cell phone number is inaccurate or missing, update your personal information here.

Password Requirements

1. Your new password must be different from any previous password.

2. It must include at least 14 characters.

3. It must have at least three of these four characteristics:

   1. uppercase

   2. lowercase

   3. number

   4. symbol

4. It must not contain part of your name, username, or ID number.
