Grading Scale
Northwestern uses a four-point grading scale. All final grades will be recorded according to the below scale:

GPA Hours is defined as Northwestern letter-graded credits (i.e., A, A-, B+, B, B-…F) used in calculating a student’s grade point average (GPA). Quality points are assigned to each letter grade earned (see Grading Scale section).
