Registration
  • Registration for classes is scheduled by the Registrar.  Selecting courses and planning a schedule is the student's responsibility. The student should consult the Catalog for academic program requirements.
  • New students must complete initial class registration by no later than the day before orientation for fall semester and the day of orientation for spring semester.  New students are to participate in orientation and attend classes according to their schedule.
  • Registration for semester-length courses should be completed by the end of the first week of the semester.  However, students may add a semester-length course online prior to the beginning of the week two of the semester or in the Registrar’s Office through the end of week two of the semester if they obtain the signatures of their advisor and the instructor of the course.
  • Registration for Quad 1 and Quad 3 courses should be completed by the end of the third academic calendar day of the semester. However, students may add a Quad 1 or Quad 3 course online prior to the beginning of the fourth academic calendar day of the Quad or in the Registrar’s Office through the end of the sixth academic calendar day of the semester if they obtain the signatures of their advisor and the instructor of the course.
  • Registration for Quad 2 and Quad 4 courses should be completed by the end of the third academic calendar day of Quad 2 and Quad 4 respectively.  However, students may add a Quad 2 or Quad 4 course online prior to the beginning of the fourth academic calendar day of the Quad or in the Registrar’s Office through the end of the sixth academic calendar day of Quad 2 or Quad 4 if they obtain the signatures of their advisor and the instructor of the course.
  • Students must add directed studies, internships, co-curricular activities, mission experiences, workshops, or tutorials by the same date Quad 2 or Quad 4 courses can be added.  However, if these are the only courses the student is taking for the term, they must be added by the end of week two of the semester.
  • Students adding courses less than a quad in length will be permitted to add the course for a proportional length of time.
  • An employee or employee’s spouse who desires to take a traditional undergraduate course understands that traditional undergraduate courses are on a space-available basis unless the individual has identified to the Registrar’s Office the degree/academic program (major) they desire to pursue.  The instructor, for those courses that fill to maximum capacity, reserves the right to give priority of registration and attendance to those who need the course for their degree/academic program.
