2.12 Interference in the Cooperating School
- The curriculum and teaching procedure in a classroom should not be changed to accommodate the teacher candidate. The university supervisor and teacher candidate will not interfere in the school and/or classroom to achieve their own purposes.
- The university supervisor and teacher candidate are expected to adapt to the teaching style and classroom procedures as established by the cooperating teacher.
- Teacher candidates and university supervisors must not engage in activities in the cooperating school or school district that do not meet with full knowledge and approval of the cooperating teacher and/or building administration.
- If the university supervisor has been asked by the cooperating school personnel to engage in activities of an extra-supervisory nature, the university supervisor should inform proper officials of the cooperating school and obtain approval before performing such activities.
