Written Communication Emphasis Course (WCE)

All majors will require a course within their major that is designated as a Written Communication Emphasis course (WCE).

WCE courses have as prerequisites the successful completion of ENG2205 (or transfer equivalent).

The following are minimal requirements for courses with a WCE designation:

• The course requires significant writing.

• At least 30 percent of the course grade will be based on written assignments.

• Writing will be evaluated using the approved form (not necessarily related to grade).
