Developmental Courses

The following developmental courses are required based on ACT scores:

STS0009 Study Strategies (non-degree): Students admitted on transitional status. 

RDG0009 College Reading Strategies (non-degree): Required if the ACT reading score is 16 (SAT 410) or below.

ENG0009 English Lab (non-degree). Required if the ACT English or ACT English/Writing score is 18 (SAT 440) or below. 

ENG0109Education Writing Lab (non-degree): Reserved for Education majors who need to demonstrate English proficiency for admittance to a teacher education program.

MAT0008 Introductory Liberal Arts Mathematics (non-degree): Required of all students with below-minimum mathematics placement test scores.
