Zoom is a video conferencing software that allows instructors, students, and colleagues to meet and collaborate remotely.

Microsoft Stream is a video hosting service through Office365.

  • Auto-closed-captioning Capability 

VoiceThread is a visual viewing and conversation tool that allows both instructors and students simple ways to share media within a Moodle course site.

Microsoft Teams is a work space for real-time collaboration and communication, meetings, file and app sharing. All in one place, all in the open, all accessible to everyone.

Kaltura Capture is a video and audio tool integrated with Moodle. Kaltura Capture can be used to create a presentation, upload media, and record audio or any kind of procedure you can demonstrate on your computer screen.

Free Services and Products

  1. GoReact is extending their resources and support to colleges and universities who are moving to online classes due to COVID 19 for free till June 30th. If you want more information on their services and what they offer click on the link.
  2. Wiley is offering free access to their online courseware, Knewton Alta or WileyPLUS to colleges and universities who are moving to online classes due to COVID 19. Click on the link for more information.
  3. Cengage is offering a free subscription to Cengage Unlimited through the remainder of the semester. This gives them access to all Cengage ebooks and platforms.  Click on the link for more information.
