Your course site in Moodle can take on a variety of formats, which alters the course arrangement and functionality. Each format suits certain uses, and all formats retain the top section (Section 0) for course-wide resources such as the syllabus, announcements forum, rubrics, etc. This page explores the benefits of the primary formats:
