  • University of Northwestern practices a modified open admissions policy, admitting those applicants who give indication that they are suited to life at Northwestern, including the spiritual requirements, personal standards and academic demands.
  • The following are criteria for admitting students:
    • evidence of a new birth in Jesus Christ,
    • willingness to subscribe to University ideals and conduct,
    • likelihood of academic success,
    • high school diploma or GED,
    • financial capability to meet University expenses.
