Microsoft Stream: Very Basic

Microsoft Stream is a web-based and mobile cloud application that can be used to record basic videos and screenshots. The tool provides basic video editing during the recording process, providing the ability to cut clips, combine multiple shots into a recording, create limited markups that overlay the video feed, and add background music from a small selection of options. ClipChamp: Basic (PC)

ClipChamp is a basic video editing tool that is available for free on PC devices. ClipChamp provides the ability to import media, combine and rearrange clips, add audio, and create limited markups and titles. iMovie: Basic (Mac)

Adobe Premier Pro: Professional

Adobe Premier Pro is a professional video editing application. Northwestern has a limited number of Adobe Premier Pro licenses that are reserved for individuals with significant and/or regular video editing job responsibilities. If you would like access to Premier Pro, please submit an IT ticket with the rationale for your need for this tool.
