2023 Atlassian Cloud Upgrade

Atlassian is discontinuing support for the on-premise server versions of Confluence and Jira. UNW needs to migrate to the Atlassian Cloud versions of Confluence and Jira to continue using those products and remain under support. When your area's space(s) are migrated, all editing of your Confluence spaces and Jira tickets should be paused while the migration is taking place, then resumed in the new location on the cloud at a new URL- unw.atlassian.net.


After your Confluence space is migrated, please review:

Permissions

  1. Key informational pages migrated successfully
  2. Layout adjustments as desired
  3. Outdated plugins or macros replaced with visually improved alternatives
  4. Bonus: Check how your content looks on a phone
  1. New URL: unw.atlassian.net...
  2. Reference links on theRock

  3. Reference links on myUNW

  4. Any other locations need to be updated to new URL path
  5. Share links ("short links") from old confluence location may still work!
  1. Can you view and edit your pages?
  2. Can others on your department edit pages you want them to?
  3. Can end users who should be able to view your pages access them?

Please note: The Expando macro does not have a 1 to 1 replacement in the Cloud version. However you can do an 'expand' macro instead. It just means that all content must be placed in that box to make it expandable as opposed to using the expand macro like a title heading in front of every paragraph that you want to expand.
