Adobe Creative Cloud

Overview

  • Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are given out to those who request it and get approval from their manager and IT.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are user-based for employees and device-based for shared workstations (student workers, computer labs)
  • User-based Adobe Creative Cloud licenses authenticate using an Adobe ID which does not sync with a UNW account.
  • Device-based Adobe Creative Cloud licenses authenticate using a Federated ID which does sync with a UNW account.

Create Adobe ID

  1. Receive an email from notifications@adobe.com
  2. On email, click on Get Started
  3. Under Complete Your Account, fill in information
  4. Type in Password (note: this does not sync with UNW password)
  5. Click on Complete Account
  6. Done
  7. Optional
    1. For additional security click on Manage Account > Edit profile and password
    2. Add a cell phone number for two-factor authentication

Remove previously installed Creative Cloud Applications

  1. Have the IT Service Desk assist in removing old applications/licenses.

Install Creative Cloud Application

  1. Open Software Center (PC) or UNW Self Service (Mac)
  2. Install the Adobe Creative Cloud Application
  3. Wait for install to finish
  4. Done

Install Adobe Applications

  1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Application
  2. Sign In using your Adobe ID
  3. Choose what applications/font you would like to install by clicking on Install under the app
