Overview
- Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are given out to those who request it and get approval from their manager and IT.
- Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are user-based for employees and device-based for shared workstations (student workers, computer labs)
- User-based Adobe Creative Cloud licenses authenticate using an Adobe ID which does not sync with a UNW account.
- Device-based Adobe Creative Cloud licenses authenticate using a Federated ID which does sync with a UNW account.
Create Adobe ID
- Receive an email from notifications@adobe.com
- On email, click on Get Started
- Under Complete Your Account, fill in information
- Type in Password (note: this does not sync with UNW password)
- Click on Complete Account
- Done
- Optional
- For additional security click on Manage Account > Edit profile and password
- Add a cell phone number for two-factor authentication
Remove previously installed Creative Cloud Applications
- Have the IT Service Desk assist in removing old applications/licenses.
Install Creative Cloud Application
- Open Software Center (PC) or UNW Self Service (Mac)
- Install the Adobe Creative Cloud Application
- Wait for install to finish
- Done
Install Adobe Applications
- Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Application
- Sign In using your Adobe ID
- Choose what applications/font you would like to install by clicking on Install under the app
