 How are banner windows selected?

Schedule is built by Ryan Hinz, rjhinz@unwsp.edu, and approved by a group of staff that use modules in Banner.

Each window is 48 hours, Friday 6 PM through Sunday 6 PM.

5 Windows are targeted for:

  • 1st weekend in January
  • 3rd weekend in March
  • 2nd weekend in June
  • 1st weekend in August
  • 1st weekend in November

Dates we try to avoid:

  • End of payroll cycles, as staff and students need to submit hours.
  • January and Mid-August thru September due to Start of Term.
  • Two weeks prior to end of term for Finals and Graduation in May and December.
  • Weekend prior to mid-term Finals and Spring Break in March and October.
