Standard Discussion Forum Subscriptions
Standard discussion forums use the icon seen below.
New Discussions
When you are creating a new discussion, there is a subscription option checkbox located in the Advanced settings of the forum located next to Post to Forum. Leaving the box checked means that you will receive an emailed copy of every reply to your post. This is helpful if you would like to be notified when someone replies to your initial post.Â
           
Individual Discussions within a Forum
You can also choose to subscribe to some discussions in a forum, but not others. In the far right column of each student's discussion, you will see a Subscribe toggle. The toggle indicates that you are subscribed or not subscribed to the discussion. Click to change your subscription status.
To print this article, click on Tools on the right, and choose Export to PDF. Open the PDF to print.
