University of Northwestern - St. Paul
University of Northwestern – St. Paul is a Christian University of the Bible, Arts and Sciences, and Professional Education. Northwestern is dedicated to supporting students in acquiring marketable vocation and life skills, including that of professional educator.
The University was founded in 1902 by Dr. W. B. Riley and situated in downtown Minneapolis. In 1970, Northwestern purchased property in Roseville/Arden Hills, the present site of University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Located on Lake Johanna and Little Johanna, the 95-acre campus is a site of grandeur and beauty.
Northwestern's education candidates possess a common faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. The University endeavors to prepare them to serve God with distinction in the teaching profession.
Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, Northwestern has also received Minnesota Professional Educators Licensure and Standards Board approval in the following programs:
