2.08 Extra-Class, Extra-Curricular, and Co-Curricular Responsibilities

- Teacher candidates are expected to assume those extra-class responsibilities held by the cooperating teacher as appropriate; e.g., playground supervision, lunchroom supervision, bus duty, and chaperoning social events.
- The cooperating teacher and university supervisor will determine the time, place, and amount of extra-class responsibilities that the candidate assumes.
- At the host school, the teacher candidate may be assigned to assist in extra-curricular activities and co-curricular activities as appropriate; e.g., organizations, clubs, music and dramatic performances.
- The cooperating teacher and university supervisor will determine the extra-curricular and co-curricular activities in which the teacher candidate assists.
