Advanced Placement
- University of Northwestern will grant credits for Advance Placement examination scores.
- Specific courses, score requirements and amount of credits granted are listed on the Northwestern student portal (i.e., theROCK>Academics) and under the Registrar’s Office on the public web site.
- Individual departments/schools and/or colleges may specify the exact courses required to fill requirements.
- Departments/schools approve courses and assign appropriate score requirements for courses required in a major or minor.
- A student may receive a maximum of 32 semester credits by way of AP or other standardized examinations.
