Outlook App
With the Outlook App you can:
View/respond to your emailsView, update and create calendar appointments or remindersLook at your files download or via OneDriveView your phone and work contacts as well Column |

Pros: - All your contacts from Outlook will sync
- Access to UNW directory
- The interface will look similar as the Desktop version of Outlook.
- Changing things from the Desktop version of Outlook will sync with your phone and vice versa

Cons:- Downloading another app will take a little more space (~91MB)
- When you change your password, Outlook app will not sync until you reenter your password.
- This will only show your work calendar and not personal calendars that are on your phone

Get the The IT Department highly recommends using the Microsoft Outlook Mobile App for email communication.

- Download the Microsoft Outlook App from
Google Play StoreImage Removed your email address- your UNWSP Email Address (@students.unwsp.edu) and tap Continue.
- Next enter your password and click sign in

Default Mail AppDefault Mobile Mail App
If you would like to use the default mail application provided with your mobile device. Please use the following documentation.
Android Devices
- If using UNW Wireless, make sure your device is connected and registered on the network.
- To register device, click here.
- From the applications menu, select Email or Mail
- Tap Exchange or Exchange ActiveSync or Corporate Sync (depending on your version of Android)
- Type your email address and password
- Students = username@students.unwsp.edu
- Tap Next
- Your device should find the settings automatically.
- If not, tap Manual Setup and enter the following information:
- Email:
- Students = username@students.unwsp.edu
- Password = your account password
- Domain/Username:
- Students: username@students.unwsp.edu
- Server = outlook.office365.com
- Port = 443 (you probably won't have to change this)
- Security Type = SSL/TLS if possible
- Click Next and Select personal email syncing issues
- Inbox checking frequency = how often your device will check for emails
- Days to sync = how far back you want your emails to go
- Give Name for Account (optional), tap Next
- Done! You should now be receiving emails on your phone

Default Mail App- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.
- Once you are under the add account menu, select Microsoft Exchange.

- Enter your UNWSP Email and Password .
- Students: username@students.unwsp.edu
