Server instructions:
- MATLAB uses LMTOOLS Utility as its license manager
- Whenever a new version of MATLAB is released a new folder for the version number needs to be made in the location: Program Files>MATLAB
- You can copy the former version's folder and then get a new license file or update the existing one replacing all version instances.
- Point to the new license file, lmgrd.exe, and debug log from within the license manager
- Any time a new license file is obtained the follow two lines with corrected version MUST be placed at the top to avoid Firewall issues

- Right click and open as a new tab so you still have access to these instructions
- Run the installer in the upper right from advanced options, select "I have a File Installation Key"
- Enter the File Installation Key:

- return to the installer
- Navigate to the same folder and select the license file you just created.
- Continue to click through the install process until finish.

4. If there is a license issue when running MATLAB, login to your account, click on ‘link license’ in your account pull-down menu, and use the number 41224500. Besides the MATLAB installation, an online version may be accessed at https://matlab.mathworks.com, and there is a mobile app version of MATLAB available at https://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab-mobile.html.
