UNW maintains an annual subscription for a campus-wide license (41224500) to access most MathWorks products, including MATLAB, Simulink, and SimScape. The subscription includes access to MATLAB online and the MATLAB Mobile application.

UNW has two legacy, perpetual licenses.

1. Goto www.mathworks.com and create a free account using your unwsp.edu email address.

2. Login into your account, and go to https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/

3. Double-click the downloaded installer and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R20XXy

4. If there is a license issue when running MATLAB, login to your account, click on ‘link license’ in your account pull-down menu, and use the number 41224500.

Besides the MATLAB installation, an online version may be accessed at https://matlab.mathworks.com,

and there is a mobile app version of MATLAB available at https://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab-mobile.html.
