Access Instructions for Handbooks and DCC - 2015.pdf

 

Accessing the Handbooks and Declaration of Christian Community on theROCK

 

  1. Open an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer.

 

  1. Go to Northwestern’s internal website known as “theROCK using the Web address http://therock.unwsp.edu.

 

  1. Log in using the same user name and password as you use to log on to Northwestern’s network. (Usually, the user name is your first initial, middle initial and entire last name with no spaces between.)

    Once you’ve logged on to theROCK, scroll to the bottom of the Home tab, and click “Handbooks & Policies.”

    Under Handbooks section, click on the link for Faculty Handbook.

 

 

  1. If you see a Security Alert dialog box, click on the “OK” button.

 

  1. If another login box appears, log in with emp\ followed by your network username (i.e. emp\username) and your network password for the password. This occurs if you are accessing the Handbooks from an off-campus computer.

    When you click on the link for Faculty Handbook, you will see the many folders of past and current faculty handbooks.

 

  1. Click on the folder link for the contract academic year’s handbook to access the handbook in pdf format.

 

  1. In addition to the faculty handbook mentioned above, there is an additional supplemental handbook available to instructors for Graduate & Continuing Education.  Please refer to the Graduate & Continuing Education Catalog found in the “University Catalogs” channel under the Academics tab of theROCK for more information.

 

Accessing the DCC or Doctrinal Statement on theROCK

 

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above to log in to theROCK.
  2.    
    Click on the link Declaration of Christian Community found in the left column under “Home.”

 

  1. Or, click on the link Doctrinal Statement in the same column under “Home.”
