Description: If you upgraded to iOS 18 on your iPhone and Wi-Fi is no longer working. There are two methods listed below. Try the primary method first.

Primary method 1

Step 1: go to settings and tap “Wi-Fi”

Step 2: tap on the blue “i” next to the “UNW Wireless” network

Step 3: There should be an option labeled “Private Wi-Fi Address”, tap on it.

Step 4: Tap the option “Fixed” so that it matches the screenshot below

Step 5: Open up safari and go through the Wi-Fi Registration process

If this fails, try the next method.

Method 2
Step 1: go to settings and tap “Wi-Fi”

Step 2: tap on the blue “i” next to the “UNW Wireless” network

Step 3: tap “Forget this network”

Step 4: Go back to the settings home page and tap “Wi-Fi” again (refer to step 1)
Step 5(Important): DO NOT CONNECT TO “UNW Wireless”. Instead, tap on the blue “i” next to UNW wireless again.

Step 6: There should be an option labeled “Private Wi-Fi Address”, tap on it.

Step 7: Tap the option “Fixed” so that it matches the screenshot below

Step 8: Tap back and tap “Join this network”

Step 9: Go through the Wi-Fi registration window and you should be able to connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone again. If you need help regarding this step, refer to this document.
