    I'm an UNWSP alumnus renting a bedroom in my quiet condo community. It's exactly 3.6 miles/10 minutes from campus.
    The room is 12 feet by 12 feet with a locking door. You would have a bedroom all to yourself. There is a ceiling fan, a small closet, baseboard heating, a small desk and chair, a dresser, a closet, and a twin bed with cubbies in the headboard. There is a window unit air conditioner that you can use in the warm months.
    The shared space is the living room, eat in kitchen, balcony, common areas in the building, the community building with pool, rec room, exercise equipment.  My ½ bath is ensuite, so except for my morning shower, the main bathroom would be all yours .I’m on the 2nd floor of a 3-floor building with an elevator across from Central Park on the east side of Roseville. There is a shared coin-operated laundry room steps from the door, and it’s only $0.75 per load. There’s a community building in the courtyard with a heated pool, game room, small exercise +room, and a patio with grills in the warmer months. It’s quiet, the neighbors are nice, it’s close to Hwy 36, and many shopping options are 1to 2 miles away. There is a secure entrance, ample off-street parking. I like where I live, and I think you will too.
    The non-negotiables: No smoking, no drinking, no drugs, no additional pets, no parties, no loud media, and no overnight guests.  You must be quiet, polite, clean, and an all-around, decent human.
    About me: I am a 53-year-old, single, devout Catholic man The place is uncluttered but cozy. I have a cat, Tim the Enchanter, and he owns the place. I have a full-time, professional job and I work from home. I’m friendly, but I’m an introvert at heart. I’m a drummer and an avid reader in my off-hours.  I don’t own a TV, and the shared space must stay that way. What screens you might have in your room are your business as long as you can observe quiet hours after 10 pm and keep the noise down during the day and evening. I like and respect my neighbors, so you need to as well.
