4.2a The Faculty Council
The Faculty Council shall be responsible for the ongoing provision of the program of nursing which demonstrates excellence in education and conforms to standards of professional accreditation agencies. The Faculty Council shall have the responsibility for action via discussion and voting on all matters brought before it by students and faculty members. The Faculty Council is the venue whereby the nursing faculty participates in decision making by joint action, consultation, or discussion. Student representatives are non-voting members.
