The following article describes who is in charge of maintaining supplies and initiating support calls for broken printers.

Printers in public spaces shared by staff, faculty, and students

The IT department will maintain an inventory of printer supplies for these shared spaces

  • Small cabinets next to the printer will hold additional reams of paper.

  • Toner and staple refills will be managed by IT.

  • If a printer is broken, please submit a ticket or call 651-631-5699 and IT will work with the vendor to initiate a maintenance call.

Printers within a specific department and shared printers not accessible to students

A representative from that department or area will be responsible for restocking supplies and initiating support calls

  • Additional reams of paper can be requested from the loading dock by emailing receiving@unwsp.edu

  • Toner can be requested from IT by submitting a ticket or calling 651-631-5699
