Overview
While the basic functionality of each classroom is the same, some UNW classrooms have been updated to include extra features like a Huddly IQ webcam, Nureva HD300 audio conferencing system, or Clevertouch 86" touch display.
Huddly IQ Webcam
Almost every classroom on campus has a Huddly webcam installed. Most are attached on top of the computer monitor as shown in the photo to the below. The Huddly webcam will automatically zoom and crop its video output to follow you around inside its frame of view.
Inside Zoom, the Huddly should be set to the default camera and microphone to be used.
To change the webcam inside Zoom:
- Click on the little arrow to the right of camera symbol on the bottom left
- Click on Huddly in the list that pops up
To change the microphone inside Zoom:
- Click on the little arrow to the right of the microphone symbol
- Then, click on Microphone (Huddly IQ) in the list under the Select a Microphone Section that pops up.
Nureva HD300 Audio Conferencing SystemÂ
Certain classrooms around campus have been updated to include a better microphone than the one built into the Huddly webcam. It is usually located on one of the walls in the front of the classroom near the ceiling as seen in the picture below.
Inside Zoom, the Nureva should be the default microphone.
To change the microphone inside Zoom:
- Click on the little arrow to the right of the microphone symbol
- Then, click on Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (HDL300) in the list under the Select a Microphone Section that pops up.
Clevertouch Display
Around campus, a handful of classrooms have an added 86" Clevertouch display. This displays replaces the projector and projector screen inside the classroom. Connection a classroom system with a Clevertouch is simple, either using the classroom PC or a laptop or other device connected via the HDMI cable and adapter ring attached to the cart. If you want to use the touchscreen functionality, also connect the additional USB cable, which is attached to the adaptor ring, to your laptop. Please use the included pen to interact with the screen.
