Classroom Spaces with Nureva, Huddly, and Clevertouch Technology
While the basic functionality of each classroom is the same, some UNW classrooms have been updated to include extra features like a Huddly IQ webcam, Nureva HD300 audio conferencing system, or Clevertouch 86" touch display.
Â
Huddly IQ Webcam
Almost every classroom on campus has a Huddly webcam installed. Most are attached on top of the monitor. The Huddly webcam will automatically zoom and crop its video output to follow you around inside its frame of view.
Inside Teams, the Huddly should be set to the default camera and microphone to be used.
To change the webcam inside Teams:
Click on the little arrow to the right of Camera button at the top right.
Click on Huddly in the list that pops up.
Â
To change the microphone inside Teams:
Click on the little arrow to the right of Mic button at the top right.
Then, click on Microphone (Huddly IQ) in the list.
Nureva HD300 Audio Conferencing SystemÂ
Certain classrooms around campus have been updated to include a better microphone than the one built into the Huddly webcam. It is usually located on one of the walls at the front of the classroom near the ceiling.
Inside Teams, the Nureva should be the default microphone.
To change the microphone inside Teams:
Click on the little arrow to the right of Mic button at the top right.
Then, click on Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (HDL300) in the list.
Clevertouch Display
Around campus, a handful of classrooms have an added 86" Clevertouch display. This displays replaces the projector and projector screen inside the classroom. You can use the classroom PC or a personal device connected to the HDMI to project. If you want to use the touchscreen functionality with a personal device, also connect the additional USB cable, which is attached to the adaptor ring. Please use the included stylus to interact with the screen.
Advanced Functionality
The Clevertouch has additional features built in which can be activated by clicking on the Pencil icon on the screen. This will bring up a menu as shown on the right.
The magnifying glass icon activates the magnifying glass. This allows you to zoom in on anything shown on screen.
The scissor icon allows you to copy a section of the screen and open it in the whiteboard so you can draw on it.
Â
The Home icon brings up the home screen, shown on the far right.
Swiping up brings up an input selection screen as shown in the left photo. Clicking on HDMI 1 will bring the computer screen back up or the laptop, if one is connected.
Swiping in from either side will bring up the menu show on the right where you can access the whiteboard app. The whiteboard app is shown in the photo on the right.
The Pencil icon brings up the menu for drawing on screen as shown in the picture below.
The icon on the bottom left, highlighted blue in the picture, is the pencil tool. Clicking on it when it is selected will cycle between the different colors.
The second icon from the left is the highlighter tool. Like the pencil, clicking on the icon when it is selected will cycle between highlighter colors.
The trash icon removes all the drawings from the screen.
The three bars on the left opens the settings menu where you can change which colors of the highlighter and pencil, as well as the thickness of both.
