Space Access

Building Level:

• All Engineering students are automatically given access to the RSQN building.
• After hours (5pm+), students must scan in and out of the building via the second scanner in the entry vestibule.
• After hours, there must be a minimum of three students in the building at all times. Non-engineering students, e.g. roommates, count towards this requirement.

Lab Level:

• Most labs will open 15 minutes before class and lock 15 minutes after class. 
• For classes where students need access outside of lab time, the instructor should request access for them by following the steps on the Department PowerApps page under the Students With Lab Access App.
• Students working in labs outside of class must be in pairs at minimum. Students may do non-equipment homework in labs solo - no student may use equipment alone.
• Students working in labs outside of class time must sign in via the occupancy app. It can be accessed through the UNW Engineers MS Teams site as a tab labeled "Occupancy" or under the Occupancy App page.
