Reset a Horizon Desktop

Sometimes you may find that you are unable to access your virtual machine. This can happen for a variety of reasons and is usually resolvable by the end-user.

 

Steps

The instructions below explain how to perform a reset.

  1. Login to Horizon

  2. Find the desktop that you are trying to get into.

  3. Click on the 3 dots in the lower right corner to see the options.

  4. Choose Restart first. This could take a couple of minutes.

  5. If this doesn’t work, the Reset option is more powerful version of Restart.

  6. In the event these actions don’t resolve the issue, you’ll need to reach out the IT Service Desk.
