Art Department 

Windows Hardware Recommendations


  • CPU: Intel Core i7, i9, Xeon E3, or AMD equivalent (We recommend i7 or higher)

  • Memory: Recommended: 16GB or more

  • Video Card: NVIDIA Quadro M2200 4GB (We recommend Quadro M2200 or higher)

  • Hard Disk: 256GB SSD (solid state drive) or larger

  • Portable Storage: A USB flash drive is recommended (8GB or larger) or USB external hard drive

  • Network Adapter: May need to purchase additional ethernet cable adapter depending on the model

  • Network Cable: We recommend students bring their own 14-foot or longer CAT-6 ethernet network cable

  • Warranty: Each student is strongly encouraged to have an extended warranty to cover the life of their laptop (3-4 years). This will help prevent unplanned costs and downtime for the student, or parents, in the event of a hardware malfunction or failure.
