Please be aware of the following:
The baccalaureate student nurse role requires walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time to manage, coordinate, and administer nursing care. The student must be capable of performing the following:
Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs.
Push/Pull up to 75 lbs.
Bend or stooping
Grasp/Pinching
Full use of both hands
Kneeling/Squatting
The student may be required to meet specific requirements as mandated by the clinical agencies.
Personal health insurance is required, throughout the nursing program.
