Advanced Discussion Forum Subscriptions

Advanced discussion forums use the icon seen below.

Individual Discussions within a Forum

You can subscribe to some discussions in a forum, but not others.  On the right side of each student's discussion, you will see a mail icon.  Double-click the icon to change your subscription status.

All Discussions in a Forum

You can also subscribe or unsubscribe from all discussions within a particular forum.  Open the discussion forum, and click Manage forum subscriptions at the bottom of the page.

In the Subscribed column, you will see your subscription status.  Click the Yes or No button to change the subscription.  In the top left corner, you can subscribe or unsubscribe to all forums listed in this table.  Note that only advanced forums are listed here.  If your course also uses standard forums, you will need to manage those subscriptions separately.
