Install - Aquira

This guide will walk you through the steps required to install Aquira.

Any user may install Aquira, there is no Administrator password required

You must be on a Northwestern Network or Global Protect VPN to install Aquira

  1. Open a new File Explorer window (type Windows key + 'E' together)

  2. Copy+Paste the following into the address bar:

\\nwm-aq-2go.ad.unwsp.org\OneClick\

  1. Double-click “Aquira” to begin the installation

  1. An Application Security Warning will pop up - click “Install”

Application Security Warning -

  1. Aquira will begin installing. This process can take ~5 minutes depending on network speed

  1. You MAY see a second Microsoft Defender Security warning. Click “More info” then “Run Anyway”

 

Login - Aquira

Aquira User Accounts and VPN access are managed by Derek Murphey - please make sure you have an account before attempting to log in

Once you are at the Aquira “Login” page, 3 things will ensure a successful login

  1. Check the “Use Windows Login” Box

  2. Leave the Login Name exactly as populated (including EMP\ or RAD\)

  3. Use your Northwestern Password

DO NOT retype your password if you receive a Windows Security popup after clicking OK. Click “Cancel” acknowledge the error and try your password again in Aquira.
