Report Filters - Aquira
Report Filters are a vital part of Monthly Invoicing in Aquira as well as a helpful day-to-day tool when reviewing and analyzing data. Our database is set up so that users can Run any Report Filters marked as shared, but only Edit their own. You can Copy Report Filters, allowing you to make edits and customize them to your needs.
Report Filters are grouped by report type. A Filter created under “NWM Invoice” would be available for any other Invoice type report. A Filter created under “12 Month Contract Revenue” would be available for any other Revenue type report.
Copy a Report Filter
The steps below will allow you to Copy a Report Filter created by another user, allowing you to make edits and customize to your needs.
Navigate to Reports > Reports.
Click once on the Report containing the Filter you’d like to copy.
Click over to the Filter tab.
Click once on the Filter that you wish to copy.
Click the Copy icon.
Rename the Report Filter as desired.
I recommend including your station call sign, it can also be helpful to include your initials.
Click the Save icon.
Mark a Report Filter as “Shared”
In order for other users to view a Report Filter you have created, it must be shared. There are multiple levels available, but all Aquira users have READ-ONLY access to all levels, so you only need to enable one. I recommend the “User” level.
Navigate to Reports > Reports.
Click once on the Report containing the Filter you need to share.
Click over to the Filter tab.
Click once on the Filter that you wish to share. Click “Edit Modes”
Check the box under “User” for the Filter you wish to share.
Click “Save Modes” to save the changes.
Edit a Report Filter
Report Filters can be made up of many different Attribute Filters to present the desired data. You can read about the different Report Types here http://www.rcs.net.nz/Help/Aquira/1230.htm
