Section 6 Student Teaching Program
Section 6 Student Teaching Program
The student teaching program at the University of Northwestern is based upon the principle that theory is most effectively learned when it is linked with practice. Student teaching is the culmination of a gradual induction into teaching. This began with the pre-student teaching experiences during the Educational Foundations, Human Relations and methods courses. These courses must be completed before approval is given to student teach.
